Bloody Angle

The Bloody Angle in Chinatown, also known as “Murder Alley,” is the notorious site of many killings among Tong Gangs in the early 1900s. These sworn brotherhoods often had ties to Chinese organized crime, and the Bloody Angle is considered the deadliest intersection in American history. That history is long gone, but today it offers street photographers a unique and visual location well off New York City’s beaten path.
